UMMM CLEARLY.

NO SHIT SHERLOCK.

ANY OTHER SECRETS YOU WANNA FILL US IN ON?

Is she still tweeting?

I’m conflicted…I kind of want to see how far she will go in showing how totally  unprofessional she is.

I don’t get how she doesn’t realize how much she’s embarrassed herself. She really must have no friends - she and Liv have this in common.

So ass kissing really does works with her, huh? Smh! So pathetic!

ON THAT JIMMY KIMMEL FUCKERY SPECIAL.

I commend those who had the courage to watch that, only to find out such gems.

Well, as they say, personality SHINES in interviews. I guess hers did, too. Not exactly in a good way professionally, but hey.

Also, she has no cast mates. That’s the other thing. She’s not part of a cast. She’s the showrunner. Cast are the actors, not her. So that’s interesting, too.

Couple points: I agree with aliasvaughn, kudos to those that watched. I didn’t want to be bothered hearing a bunch of half truths and outright lies (same with the Writer’s Room ep). Additionally, Ale pointing out the usage of “castmates” and how it doesn’t apply to SR is key. That whole “we’re a happy family” stuff they try to sell is bs (during s2a I could have believed it for the most part). It’s VERY obvious that some don’t really get along with others.

there’s no limit to how much I love Jason Momoa

While filming one of the sex scenes in Season 1, Jason came out with a finger puppet on his dick and they had to take a ten minute break because Emilia Clarke couldn’t stop laughing.

Orphan Black ads over Times Square

Speaking of Rowan/Eli, do we give him his father of the year trophy now? The man is classless. He sent in an operative to sleep with his own daughter. He has not provided a home for his daughter since she was 12 years old. But he brags about sending her to boarding schools with the “children of kings.” He has not one photograph of his own daughter to show. He has not shown her any affection for years. He has for all intents and purposes abandoned a 12 year old girl to her own devices. We find out he has been imprisoning Olivia’s mother for over 20 years and that she is very much alive. This is the same mother that Olivia has abandoned Fitz over. This same mother is a certified terrorist and killer.

Rowan/Eli in the mean time is rimming Fitz during a so-called interrogation. Fitz gets to be the poster “boy” for all white folks and a racist past where all Black men were called “boys” on a daily basis. Fitz gets to be called “boy” for several minutes as Eli goes on a tirade about why Fitz is a boy and he is a man.

Until Eli Pope can explain to me as to why Olivia Pope had no home since age 12 or a father that showed her unconditional love as she grew up, his classification of himself as a man will not stand. He is a poor excuse for a father and his manhood is tainted because of his treatment of his daughter. A man that sends an operative to sleep with his own flesh and blood and then has the nerve to say to anyone that they are a disappointing suitor for the same daughter’s hand is ludicrous.

A write-up from ScandalTVShow.net.

I agree with the above write-up about Rowan. Mama Pope may have been a monster, but let’s not forget that Rowan recruited people like Huck by blackmailing them, and then having them terminated when they’d outlasted their usefulness. Also he got Huck to kill Pete Foster, and he sent in Jake Ballard to sleep with Olivia Pope. He’s also ultimately responsible for killing 329 civilians on a plane. Nope, no father of the year awards for him.

I can’t even disagree with this.  I like Rowan as a complex character but as a father?  He sucks ass.  As a man who was supposed to take care of Olivia emotionally and just not financially, he sucks.   As a man who picked his country over his own flesh and blood and then sent a man to fuck her so he could hurt the president?  He sucks.

All the applause for the person who wrote this. I too like Rowan but he’s not a better man than Fitz and has no reason or right to judge him as unsuitable for his daughter. Except for that comment about her taste. That wasn’t a good moment for Fitz even though it was said purposefully.

I think sometimes in life we want to ignore the problems of society and just think about the good. I believe in positive thinking and affirmative living, I also think it’s really important to remember all of our disenfranchised members of society.

But why is Fitz’s vindication as a good guy predicated upon his reaction to Mellie’s rape??? So essentially he is worst guy for loving Olivia and committing adultery in the process? But in this scenario he has lost a child continues to stay in the marriage out of guilt/obligation or whatever else while he is really in love with someone else.. and both he and Mellie continue to do their whole pretending is what’s real stchick that they’ve been doing for a long time now so nothing’s really changed. But I guess they are all monsters who don’t deserve any of their desires coming to pass so I shouldn’t be too surprised about that. Misery is what the Scandalverse does best!

It’s funny how in all the discussions of the racial implications of the show, we somehow never talk about the fact that Olivia is a black woman who essentially sacrifices her life and happiness for the republic as this ‘abstract’ ideal that doesn’t even benefit her all that much comparatively speaking… and instead of attempting to grapple with her pain, the fact that her entire life is falling apart , we have been treated to lots and lots of exposition on the Grant Marriage that really doesn’t have all that much to do with her. Talk about art imitating life. Even your three point summation had to include episode 307 when really there is nothing about Mellie as a character that was formative to who and what Olivia is. The notion of Olivia as an idea, rather than a person is interesting but also disheartening because it just reflects how under-explored her humanity has been this entire season.

And can we talk about the fact that Jake isn’t just any bad guy? He is also the person who choked her because he was angry about being betrayed, but we didn’t see any followup or reaction for that? But I guess Olivia isn’t human so that’s ok…

Not only gorgeous, Washington, 37, is also ageless (seriously, she doesn’t look a day over Save the Last Dance). But she demurs such compliments. “The ‘imperfections’ are actually the gift,” she told Doobop.com. “The reality is we all have nerves and moments of insecurity … But if I said to myself that I’m only going to show up, or speak or be visible when I’m perfect, I would never get out of bed.”

I’ll actually buy this issue. Lupita tops People Magazine’s 50 most beautiful people. And rightfully so. I mean just look at her, he smile, her personality, her presence, her skin…just everything.

first time in EVER that i agree with People’s Most Beautiful choice.
